My Story

I am a high school student who discovered juggling at age 12 through a circus summer camp. What began as an introduction quickly became a sustained, self-driven pursuit that now shapes my academic interests, discipline, and community involvement. I practice daily, continually learning new and increasingly advanced juggling techniques while preparing for competitive and professional opportunities.

Beyond personal development, I use juggling as a tool for wellness and learning. I am launching a juggling club and leading workshops for children, teens, and adults, using juggling to support focus, coordination, brain health, and confidence. My goal is to bring juggling from the performance world into everyday life – making its benefits accessible to all while creating meaningful impact through teaching, leadership, and service.

Youth Circus

I discovered circus arts at age 12 through a week-long summer camp at a local non-profit youth circus group, My Nose Turns Red. Over more than two years of training, my passion for circus arts – especially juggling and unicycle – has continued to grow. Through this journey, I’ve gained experience not only in performing but in many other aspects of circus life. I’ve also met an incredible group of fellow youth circus artists and formed great friendships. At My Nose Turns Red, I continued to develop my juggling skills, eventually juggling five balls, five rings, and four clubs. During my training, I had opportunities to coach summer camps, and I plan to continue coaching in the future. I also coach my younger brother, who is seven years younger than me, and we enjoy creating circus videos together.

International Juggling Association

In the summer of 2025, I attended my first week-long International Jugglers’ Association (IJA) festival in Indiana. It was a turning point. Being surrounded by so much creativity under one roof made me instantly feel like I belonged, and I realized that juggling was my true passion. I learned many new skills, explored the endless possibilities of juggling, and witnessed a wide range of juggling competitions.

I also participated in several juggling competitions –  juggling while running. I completed a 5K while juggling three balls, 400 meters while juggling four balls, and 200 meters while juggling five balls.

Winning some of these races was incredibly inspiring. Juggling perfectly combined my love for juggling and running, making the experience even more exciting.

At IJA, I met several stars of the juggling world and was fortunate to connect with World Champion Juggler David Cain, who lives close to my home. I continue to receive advanced training from him.
